Please note that while a school bus is loading and unloading students, it is unlawful to pass, whether on a street, highway, or school parking lot. It is imperative to student safety that precaution is taken to not violate this mandate.

Parent Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures for Bois D’Arc Elementary

To help keep our students safe and ensure that drop-off and pick-up run smoothly, we ask that all families follow the guidelines below:

Morning Drop-Off

Arrival Time: Students should not be dropped off before 7:20 AM. Please wait until a staff member is outside before allowing your child(ren) to exit your vehicle.
Designated Drop-Off Zones: Use only the three marked cones along the sidewalk for drop-off. These zones are indicated on the map with dots.
Class Start Time: Classes begin promptly at 7:50 AM.
Late Arrivals: Students arriving after 7:50 AM must be escorted to the main office and signed in by an adult.

Afternoon Pick-Up

Pull Forward: When arriving for pick-up, please pull all the way forward to the last available cone. Students are dismissed in the order of arrival, so remaining in the three-car lineup helps keep things moving safely and efficiently.
Traffic Map: Please refer to the included map for specific traffic flow patterns and designated drop-off and pick-up locations.

Bus Transportation Between Ash Grove & Bois D’Arc Elementary

AM Bus

Students may be dropped off at Ash Grove Elementary to ride the bus to Bois D’Arc Elementary.
Students must be in place by 7:20 a.m. to catch the bus.
There is no supervision before 7:20 a.m.—please do not drop off earlier than 7:15 a.m.
For safety, students must exit their vehicle in the car line (bus lane side), not the parking lot. This allows bus drivers to see students clearly and keeps traffic moving. (See map below.)
This is the same car line used by Ash Grove Elementary students. Arrive early, as the line can get long in the morning.

PM Bus

Bois D’Arc students may ride the bus to Ash Grove Elementary for pickup there.
The buses will arrive between 3:45–3:50 p.m.
If you are also picking up an Ash Grove Elementary student, they must be picked up at their 3:30 dismissal time. Afterward, please park and then enter the 3:45 car line for Bois D’Arc student pickup.
For safety, all students must be picked up in the car line. (See map below.)
