Arrival/ Dismissal

SCHOOL HOURS: 8:00 am - 3:06 pm

ARRIVAL:

Students can arrive at 7:30 a.m. Please do not drop off prior to this time as students will not be supervised. When dropping off pull single file into the drop off lane. Students can be dropped off once the sidewalk is reached.

DISMISSAL:

Students riding the bus will be escorted to the bus by their teacher. Students who will be a parent pick up at Bois D'Arc Elementary will meet in the gym. Parents will enter the parking lot using the first drive and line up parallel to the sidewalk (see diagram below). Students will be escorted outside and wait for parents to arrive. Teachers will walk students to their cars individually. Students will only be escorted to cars parked in front of the “loading area”. We ask parents to remain in the vehicles in order to speed up the process. Parents will exit the parking lot using the same drive they entered (first drive). The entrance and exit has been labeled and the parking lot has been marked.

Please note that while a school bus is loading and unloading students, it is unlawful to pass, whether on a street, highway, or school parking lot. It is imperative to student safety that precaution is taken to not violate this mandate.
